Raffle winners!

Zoe Stern, manager of S&A Beads, awards a $500 shopping spree to Yari Lorenzo and her husband Michael Scherer Yari was one of the three winners of the Old Takoma Holiday Shopping raffle. The other two winners are Linda Walker and Kathy Murray.

The raffle was an incentive in a "Shop Local" campaign organized by the Old Takoma Business Association.

Participating businesses included Amano, The Big Bad Woof, The Covered Market, Fair Day's Play, House of Musical Traditions, Mark's Kitchen, Middle East Cuisine/Olive Lounge, Moonhadow, Now and Then, Park Florist, Roscoe's Pizzeria, S & A Beads, Salon Jam, The Stillpoint Mind & Body, Summer Delights, Takoma Old Town Gallery, Takoma Vision, The Tranquil Soul, Shampoo, and Video Americain.
