People in any community on Earth are invited to join this "blog-alogue" on issues of global sustainability. Whether giving light to practical tips to achieve a carbon neutral lifestyle or watchdog commentary on legislators who "get it" (as well as those who don't), this blog is a search for truth on the big issue of climate change.
It is good for getting the details behind a vague media report like "Some oil production was affected in the Gulf." They will have maps and photos showing the affected production.
Incidentally, I think that the way to think about the Earth now is a park. We've gotten rid of all the "wilderness" and we have stuff we have to actively watch over. There's too many of us and we have too much power to have "untouched nature" mean anything any more. There's no way to even know what the "pre-human"conditions where like. But we should try to make it an excellent park.
