The city council worked their way through a long list of proposed budget adjustments at their May 7th meeting. They discussed each, then voted them up or down. Shortly after 11pm they finished the process with a 2 cent reduction to the city manager's previously proposed tax rate.That was the official amount that they mayor said should be announced, though when they crunched the numbers it came out closer to 2.25 cents.
