Baltimore Symphony Orchestra inspires school kids

First-graders at Takoma Park Elementary learn the tempo of the violin on April 23. Up on the knees with arms outreached for a fast tune, knees bent and heads low for a slow dance.
Ellen Pendleton Trayer of the Baltimore Symphony Orchestra was the guest musician, part of a Strathmore program to get young children to think creatively about classical music.
